The stage is set & the weather is favourable for tonight’s big decider……. Who can talk the talk & who will walk the walk, but most importantly who will be the champions tonight. Make sure you come early to see the parade of teams and mascots lead out by the Letterkenny & District Pipe Band.

We are looking forward to the inaugural Letterkenny Hospitals Sports and Social Club 5 a side Football Tournament 2025 at Letterkenny Community Centre on Friday 26th of September at 6pm in Letterkenny Community Centre. We hope that this will be the start of an annual competition to encourage staff to interact & have some fun. We would like to thank Liam O’Donnell of Letterkenny Community Centre for organising the tournament & Letterkenny Credit Union who have kindly offered to sponsor the Inaugural Trophy and Refreshments which will be provided after in the new Jim Lynch building looking over the pitch. The tournament will be opened with the Letterkenny & District Pipe Band who will lead the teams onto the pitch. We would love if our spectators or team members would bring their kids along in their football jersey’s to join the parade onto the pitch. The Captain Credit Union Letterkenny Credit Union & Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure Sports Bear will also be there to join in on the fun. Our staff member Even Logan will be the photographer for the evening taking in all the action. Thanks to Lam Chuo Zi for providing Medical first aid on the evening. Please come along early as we kick off at 6pm…..bring your kids in their football jerseys, hooters, flags and whatever you need to make some noise to support your department.

It is on this Friday night 26th September 2025 from 6pm – 9pm with training well underway and fitness levels increasing, it promises to be an exciting evening of fun…….
