Letterkenny Hospitals Sports and Social Club is proud to support the HSE Donegal Reach Out Network Committee in attending Letterkenny Pride on Saturday August 16th 2025 from 2.30pm at An Grianan Theatre on behalf of the HSE. The National Ambulance Service Pride ambulance will also be attending. Letterkenny Pride is a significant event for HSE to be a part of and promises to be a fun filled celebration of diversity and inclusion. The HSE Donegal Reach Out Network are proud to be the first county in Irelnd to setup a local HSE Reach Out Network and welcome everyone to come along, join in the fun of the Pride parade and show your support for HSE LGBT+ colleagues and Allies!

For the last number of years some of our Letterkenny Sports & Social Club committee members proudly participated oin the parade behind our S&S Banner & this year we thought we could increase our numbers and support by inviting our S&S club members and their families to get involved behind our LUH Sports & Social Club Banner on Saturday 16th August 2025. Pride is all about community. It is a magnificent celebration of diversity, a time to bring people together, and of course, a big day/week of fun. But beyond that, it is about showing members of the LGBTQ + community who otherwise might find themselves feeling marginalised, that they belong in this town, and in this county. In particular, we feel there is a huge need to show young LGBTO + folks that they do not need to leave their hometown in order to feel welcome. The weekend from 14th to 16th August will consist of a number of events around the town, including all-ages family events, concerts, social gatherings and it will culminate with the march itself on Saturday 16th August, starting from An Grianan Theatre from 3.30pm.

Our next walk is this Thursday 14th August and it’s the Bridal Path in Glenveagh. This is always a very popular walk with our members. Please see poster for further information and details on how to book. Book before tomorrow at 12md please
