The even better news & please share…. We have managed to re-schedule our Letterkenny Hospitals Sports & Social Club Christmas Dinner Dance on Friday 20th December @ The Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal with The Kavanagh Brothers Band. Under the circumstances we understand that this date may not suit everyone. So we have arranged for some of our committee members on Monday 9th to contact the people that have block booked tables for departments to try to rearrange refunds or possibly keep their places for our new date. We have also arranged a table for refunds and New Sales on Wednesday 11th & Thursday 12th December from 12-2pm. The table for sales will be announced on Monday 9th when we can confirm our spot. We hope that you will all still attend as it is always a great night to socialise and have fun. There will still be many prizes to be won on the night including the taking part in the main members draw. So please stay posted & watch out for further information on Monday 9th December.

So……I have good news & some even better news. Firstly the good news is ……………….. We have drawn 2 prizes of €1000 which was meant to be announced at tonight’s Dinner Dance. 1st prize of €1000 is for Bronagh Kennedy from Discharge Liason Dept. The 2nd prize of €1000 is for Jennifer McColgan Retired Maternity Dept. !! IMPORTANT MESSAGE !! PLEASE SHARE Unfortunately a decision has been taken by The National & Regional Managers, The National Incident Team, and the Gardai have advised that no travel must be made with A Red Weather Warning in place and that all functions should be cancelled under the circumstances. The Road Safety Authority (RSA) is also advising road users in area affected by the RED warning to avoid any travel during the storm window. Again we are very sorry to be delivering this news after all of the hard work, a discussion will take place and a decision made regarding the possibility of another date. We will inform you all in due course.

!! IMPORTANT MESSAGE!! We have been receiving a lot of messages the Red Weather Warning and our members are wondering if our Dinner Dance will be going ahead tonight or not. We are currently awaiting confirmation from a National Meeting which is being held presently and need to take all of the appropriate care and consideration for everyone attending our function tonight. It’s that time of year again. So please pay particular attention to our posts this week as tomorrow we will start our 4 day countdown to our Annual Letterkenny Hospitals Sports and Social Club Christmas Dinner Dance Draws. The larger prizes drawn & announced at our Christmas Dinner Dance on Friday 6th November, The Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Just to remind everyone………… Tomorrow Wednesday 27th November is THE LAST DAY FOR TICKET SALES FOR OUR DINNER DANCE. Remember there are lots of prizes to be won on the night as well as our Big Draw & it’s only €30.00 for our S&S club members.
