The first of our Sports & Social Club Christmas Draws took place today and the 3 winners of our prizes of €100 are as follows- Congratulations to all of the winners. Just to let everyone know that the winners are not to collect the cheques, but to contact Bernie McGinty either by email on bernie.mcginty@hse.ie or by phone on ext 3508 and let her know where to post the cheque to.

On the lead up to our Sports & Social Club Christmas Dinner Dance 2022 you will all be delighted to hear that we will be announcing the winners in our Christmas Draw from-: Monday 5th Dec. where we will be giving 3 cash prizes of €100. On Tuesday 6th Dec. there will be 4 cash prizes of €200. On Wednesday 7th Dec. there will be 3 cash prizes of €300. On Thursday 8th Dec. we will be giving 2 cash prizes of €500. The 3 cash prizes of €1000 and the bumper prize of €2000 will be announced at our Dinner Dance on Friday 9th Dec. So here’s wishing the very best of luck to all of our Club Members & we look forward to seeing you all on Friday night.

On the last email we posted the date Monday 5th December 2022 is wrong. This should have been Wednesday 30th November 2022. So, if you wish to return your tickets, please return them to Bernie McGinty in the patient Accounts office no later than Wednesday 30th November. Sorry for this error.

Dinner Dance 9th Dec 2022 If any of our members are unable to attend the dinner dance could you please kindly return your tickets to Bernie McGinty down at Patients Accounts office at the front door of hospital where you will be refunded. Wednesday 30th November 2022 will be the cut-off date to return your tickets as we are currently organising our Table Plan. It is very important to note that all of the tickets sold are numbered and cross matched with your S&S membership number. Therefore, they cannot be used or transferred into anyone else’s name, due to the fact we have a specific draw for our members only draw and then a draw for all of those who attend on the night of the dance.

We have an exciting trip organised for September 2023 along the Camino de Santiago, UNESCO World Heritage Site. This iconic pilgrimage is a truly memorable experience and a trip not to be missed…………. More details will follow at a later date. Please remember to save the dates if you are interested…

The excitement is building as the countdown is now on to our LUH Sports & Social Christmas Dinner Dance on Friday 9th Dec 2022…. We will be having a Foto Booth for you to share your pictures of the night & we have top models Paddy & Gary showing you all how it’s all done!!

Update Just to inform you all tickets are selling very fast…….so please Hurry…Hurry!! If you haven’t got your tickets yet I would advise everyone to come down as soon as possible as when they are gone, there gone….. Group sheets are available at the notice board beside the canteen & we would ask that your please fill these out correctly with staff names & Social Club membership numbers with the correct money to avoid any delays. Thanks

The Mount Errigal will be providing special rates for accommodation for anyone wishing to stay over on the night of the Dinner Dance. Please quote your S&S club membership number when booking. Details on poster attached.

Our Childrens Christmas Party will be held on Sunday 11th Dec from 2pm. There will be a special Santa Grotto this year for all or the children, Face painting & the usual games also a Disco with Lee Gooch. Please see poster attached for all the details. No booking is necessary. Just pay at the door.
