To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of our Letterkenny Hospitals Sports & Social Club, we are hosting a Aummer BBQ on Friday 24th July 2026 at the Silver Tassie, Letterkenny. The BBQ will be served from 7.30pm – 8pm and there will be Live Music including a celebration of the multicultural members within our club. Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday 30th June & Wed 1st July 2026.

Our members walked the fabulous Burtonport Railway walk yesterday evening. Such an enjoyable evening enjoying the chats with old and new friends. The beautiful scenery, fresh air and not forgetting exercising without realising it. Some photos attached from the participants.

For any of our members that are jiving enthusiasts, we have a Jive/Dance for the Donegal Hospice on June on Wed 24th in the Vestry, St Conal’s Campus, High Road, Letterkenny. Please see poster for further information & booking details.

Our next walk is The Burtonport Old Railway Walk in Burtonport. This is a new walk for us. We will do the 5.5km length and the bus will pick us up at the end. This is suitable for all walkers, so come along and enjoy the fresh air, exercise and chatting to old and new friends.

Just to let all of our members know that all of our ongoing fitness classes for example, all Pilates, Yoga, Smovey ect that have been advertised & run by our S&S club will be suspended for the months of July & August to facilitate other events during the summer months. Thank you.

Our 2nd Letterkenny Hospitals Sports & Social Club Football Tournament will take place on Friday 26th June 2026 at the Letterkenny Community Centre and registration has already started with all of the so called fittest members getting into their department teams. If you are interested in putting together a team representing your workplace please see attached poster for further information and details.

Just a reminder to Save the Date for our Letterkenny Hospitals Sports & Social Club – Kids Summer Camp. From 19th to 21st August 2026. Bookings will take place on 30th July. Waiting on confirmation on conference room availability. Please keep an eye on this page for further information.

We have discounted tickets, for our members only, to two great bands at The Social in Gweedore, Co. Donegal this weekend. On Saturday 30th May its the fantastic Hothouse Flowers. On Sunday 31st May its one of Irelands biggest bands, The Cronas. See posters attached for further information and details on how to book.
