Pride is returning to Letterkenny from 30th July to 3rd August 2024 after last year’s huge success. Last year some of our Letterkenny Sports & Social Club committee members proudly participated in the parade behind our S&S Banner & this year we thought we could increase our numbers and support by inviting our club members and their families to get involved behind our LUH Sports & Social Club Banner on Saturday 3rd August 2024. Pride is all about community. It is a magnificent celebration of diversity, a time to bring people together, and of course, a big day/week of fun. But beyond that , it is about showing members of the LGBTQ+ community who otherwise might find themselves feeling marginalised, that they belong in this town, and in this county. In particular, we feel there is a huge need to show young LGBTQ+ folks that they do not need to leave their hometown in order to feel welcome. This week will consist of a number of events around the town, including all-ages family events, concerts, social gatherings and it will culminate with the march itself on Saturday 3rd August, starting from An Grianan Theatre
